This policy explains the warranty coverage that may apply to repairs, replacement parts, technical support, and other services provided by NextGen Technology.
Effective date: July 24, 2026
We are committed to providing professional computer repair and IT services. Warranty eligibility, duration, and available remedies may vary depending on the service performed, the replacement part supplied, and the terms shown on your invoice, work order, quotation, or service agreement.
When warranty coverage is provided, it applies to the specific repair work completed by NextGen Technology during the warranty period stated on the customer's invoice, work order, or service agreement.
If the same confirmed issue returns during the applicable warranty period, contact us promptly. We will inspect the device and determine whether the concern relates to our original workmanship.
If the concern is covered, we may reperform the affected work, correct the original repair, or provide another appropriate remedy at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, reconditioned, or compatible third-party parts, depending on availability, customer approval, and the repair requirements.
Parts are covered only for the warranty period stated on the invoice or supplied by the part manufacturer or distributor. Manufacturer warranty conditions may apply separately.
A replacement part warranty normally covers a verified defect in the installed part. It does not cover unrelated device failures, accidental damage, misuse, liquid exposure, power surges, or damage caused after the repair.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty coverage excludes:
When a customer asks us to install a part they supplied, NextGen Technology does not warrant the quality, compatibility, condition, authenticity, or performance of that part unless expressly agreed in writing.
Any workmanship warranty will be limited to the installation service itself and will not cover failure caused by the customer-supplied component.
Some technology problems are intermittent or difficult to reproduce. A diagnostic assessment reflects the device's condition and available symptoms at the time it is examined.
A diagnostic service does not guarantee that every future or hidden fault will be identified. Additional problems may appear after a device is returned to regular use.
Customers are responsible for maintaining current backups of important files before submitting any device for inspection, repair, upgrade, maintenance, or software service.
Repair and diagnostic procedures may involve hardware testing, software changes, operating-system repair, storage replacement, reinstallation, or factory reset. These procedures can create a risk of data loss.
Unless a separate backup or data-transfer service is included in writing, warranty coverage does not include lost, damaged, corrupted, inaccessible, or deleted data.
Data recovery results cannot be guaranteed. Success depends on the condition of the storage device, the nature of the damage, previous recovery attempts, encryption, overwriting, and other technical factors.
A successful recovery does not guarantee that every file will be complete, current, readable, or usable. Recovered data should be reviewed by the customer as soon as possible.
Malware-removal service applies to threats identified and addressed during the service visit. It does not provide a permanent guarantee against future infection.
Customers remain responsible for safe browsing practices, security updates, backups, password protection, multi-factor authentication, and the continued use of appropriate security software.
Software support may include troubleshooting, installation, configuration, optimization, account assistance, or operating system repair.
Software performance can be affected by third-party updates, licensing restrictions, vendor changes, incompatible applications, hardware limitations, or changes made after the service. These circumstances are outside the original service warranty unless expressly included in writing.
Managed IT, cybersecurity, monitoring, cloud, backup, and ongoing business-support services are governed by the applicable quotation, statement of work, service plan, or managed-service agreement.
Response targets, service availability, support hours, exclusions, third-party licensing, backup retention, and other obligations are defined by the applicable agreement.
No technology or cybersecurity service can eliminate every technical, operational, security, or data-loss risk.
To request a warranty assessment:
We may need the device, charger, related accessories, login access, error details, or other information to evaluate the claim.
A reported issue is not automatically considered a warranty claim. We must inspect the device and confirm that the concern is connected to covered workmanship or a covered replacement part.
Diagnostic or service charges may apply when the reported issue is unrelated to the original repair or falls outside the applicable warranty.
When a claim is approved, the available remedy may include additional diagnosis, reperformance of the covered work, repair or replacement of the affected part, service credit, or another reasonable solution.
The appropriate remedy depends on the nature of the issue, part availability, manufacturer requirements, and applicable law.
Customers should collect completed or unrepaired equipment promptly after receiving notice that it is ready.
Any storage fees, collection deadlines, or treatment of uncollected equipment will be communicated through the work order, invoice, service agreement, or direct notice and will be applied only as permitted by law.
Repairing or opening a device may affect a manufacturer's warranty, extended warranty, insurance policy, or protection plan. Customers should review those terms before authorizing third-party repair.
NextGen Technology is not responsible for decisions made by a manufacturer, insurer, retailer, or other warranty provider.
This policy is intended to describe our service warranty and does not exclude, restrict, or replace rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.
We may update this Warranty & Service Policy as our services, suppliers, or business practices change. The version published when a service is purchased will apply alongside the customer's invoice, work order, quotation, and service agreement.
To ask a warranty question or request an assessment, please contact NextGen Technology and include your invoice or work-order information.
